Gigi and Olive is an online gifting boutique based in London. Together we’ve collaborated on Brand Development, Stationery, and many seasonal products & campaigns creating a cohesive experience for G&O’s loyal customers.
Our latest seasonal commission with Gigi and Olive was to develop a capsule valentine’s day collection that would capture the spirit of a romantic Parisian cafe.
Usually, such an occasion would warrant cocktails at your favourite restaurant or an impulsive city break. But this year, things are different. Amid the pandemic, many of us are spending Valentine’s Day at home. In a bid to make indoor dates as special as possible, we worked closely with founder Georgie to develop and shoot a collection of romantic stationery & tableware consisting of customisable menus, hand-painted candles, and love tokens.
There is a playfulness to the visual identity, achieved through custom type, materiality and hand-drawn illustration. We developed a range of seasonal assets that seamlessly aligned and integrated on digital platforms.
The dinner setting was centred around occasion tableware and the best selling Atlanta Linen Dress in White linen, perfect for any comfy at-home date night. The sleeves can be dropped down for exposed shoulders and features a smocked bodice which allows you to wear it without a bra comfortably.
The table was punctuated by the hand-painted candlesticks Exclusively made for Gigi & Olive’s Valentine’s collection. The candelabras shadowed a delicately iced cake that had been sourced from a local patisserie, which sat amongst our backdrop of own home. We believe no scene is truly complete without an accompanying soundtrack, and so we opted for a hum of soft evening Jazz.
