Ibiza was the birthplace of our new-found lust for life, and for this reason, it was only fitting that we returned to the island, exactly 12 months after we had left, to launch Travel Stories to the world. An intimately curated collection of city guides and locations we have enjoyed, experienced and captured first hand, that unanimously stand for beauty, creativity and sophistication.

We created Travel Stories as an online destination to inspire you to live out your next adventure with intention. From those first sips of morning coffee in the heart of a new city, where the locals sip their sangria during sundown, backstreet restaurants that serve the best linguine, to hidden coves made for watching the sunrise over the ocean; it is a space made for adventurers, by adventurers. You can read all about the origins of travel stories below.

Origins of Travel stories

Our design team welcomed the opportunity to design custom plane tickets as invitations and bespoke place settings for the launch evening. The event was an intimate affair set in the heart of the Ibizan countryside at a villa we rented for the occasion.

We paid homage to the places that we had visited over the year; we ate pasta and drank wine (a lot of both) and watched as the sun set over the hills behind us. It wouldn’t have been a Stories Soirée without full styling that centred around rosé, flowers and candles. The table was perfectly situated outside to provide views of the villa and out onto the surrounding hills.

Amongst the candles and the flowers (and of course, the bottles) we had dressed the table with individual place settings. We sat and raised our rosé to the adventures of Travel Stories and what we had created together.

The next day we packed up our hats and our hangovers into the jeep and took the team to a place that has very special meaning for us. A year ago, we would regularly spend our Sundays at El Chiringuito, lay underneath the raffia canopy watching as the waves crashed against the shore.

We sat in the sunshine, wedged between the waves and the warm wooden decked restaurant as the lanterns swooned in the wind above our heads. We took another moment to reflect on the night before and of course snapping away with our cameras as we watched another beautiful sunset on the island.

Somewhere between these views, the magnum of beach rose, and the creative souls we were surrounded by, we felt we had truly given Travel Stories the launch into the world that it deserved.
