Olana is a sustainable linen brand, born from an affinity with timeless fashion and a romantic nostalgic heart. The line is inspired by vintage designs in premium fabrics creating elevated, yet wearable pieces. Olana inspires others to carefully consider & curate the story they would like their clothes to tell. Pieces which implore you to live out your most beautiful, memorable days, the ones where time stands still and you revisit in more mundane times.
Designed for timeless free-spirits whilst pioneering beauty, heart and refined femininity. Olana’s youthful spirit is not without substance with the brand being passionately committed to sustainability. Our challenge was to develop an identity that reflected this soft but enduring feminine quality, whilst capturing a story that tells of endless summer’s.
We envisioned an identity that has the capacity to be everlasting and distinctive, rather than associated with seasonality or trends. To evoke the sense of being rooted in a bygone era we chose a monochrome colour pallet. Hand-drawn borders and grained images create an almost cinematic feel as if each element of the brand has been captured on film. Materiality and paper stocks have been carefully considered to portray the look of linen. Naturally dyed silk ribbon and raw edges create a tactility and delicacy to the identity.
Whilst linen remnants have been incorporated into the brand packaging as a way to utilise leftover fabric and reduce waste, reinforcing Olana’s sustainable credentials. Capturing the cinematic quality of the brand we showcase the collection in a brand video. With distinctive casting and an idyllic setting, the video tells a story of one of those pretty summer days where time dissipates, hair files in soft waves whilst laid out on soft grass.
Stories produced an overall content and marketing strategy tailored to elevating Linjer as a luxury but affordable brand. The key aim was to increase brand awareness across social media – looking at the bigger picture and how the production of mesmerising content feeds into an overall wider marketing strategy.
